The last big tournament of the 2020 League of Legends season will be the All-Stars Event, and the rosters for three major regions have just been announced.

Riot announced the 2020 All-Star Event at the start of November with a new format that takes the popular tournament to an online setting. This means that not all regions will clash against each other on Summoner’s Rift. Instead, neighboring regions will be paired up during the All-Star weekend.

What hasn’t changed is the All-Star voting, where fans from around the world have had the chance to vote in players for each region. The voting ended on November 17 and now the full lineups are finally here.

Each region has five professional players voted in by fans, one for each role. Besides that, the four major regions LEC, LCS, LCK, and LPL have a squad of former players on the Legends team. There are also the Queue Kings, featuring popular content creators.

The teams will meet when the 2020 All-Star Event kicks off on Friday, December 18. The event will run through the weekend and end on December 20.

2020 All-Star Event teams

While voting is already done, the list of participants is not complete yet. There are still a lot of former players and content creators that are missing, but Riot will likely announce them as soon as possible. For the pros, the LPL team is still waiting to be revealed, as is the LCS top laner.

Popular teams such as T1, Team Liquid, and Fnatic are all represented on the list of All-Stars.

What is the LoL All-Star Event?

Every year, Riot hosts an All-Star tournament that gathers the most popular players from each region. The All-Star tournament is known to have a lot of fun game modes and the annual 1v1 tournament, where professional players battle to become the best 1v1 player in the world. The All-Star event is not as serious as the World Championship or Mid-Seasonal Invitational, but instead an international event where players come to have fun.

When is the 2020 LoL All-Star Event?
