Teamfight Tactics is on its fourth version of the game with TFT: Fates. There’s still a long way to go before the end of TFT: Fates, but it’s never too early to start planning for the next set.

The TFT sets and the League of Legends ranked seasons run independently of one another, so each has its own start and end date. TFT: Fates ends on January 18, a little after the start of League of Legends Season 11.

It’s too early to guess the theme for Set 5, but one could speculate based on what’s to come in 2021. TFT: Fates is based on the Spirit Blossom event, the biggest League of Legends event of the summer that included an interactive story inside the game’s client.

In early 2021, Riot Games will launch “Ruined King: A League of Legends Story” through Riot Forge in partnership with Airship Syndicate. The RPG will follow a group of unlikely partners as they explore Bilgewater and try to reach the Shadow Isles. Since TFT: Fates was inspired by Ionia, it’s not crazy to think that Set 5 could be based around Bilgewater or the Shadow Isles as a way to promote Ruined King.

Climb the ranks and win TFT: Fates rewards

TFT: Fates will be live for another ten weeks, more than enough time to climb the ladder and reach at least Gold. Players that end the ranked season ranked Gold or above will receive a Victorious Little Legend and an emote to match.

Out of the game’s four sets that have been deployed so far, TFT: Fates has been better balanced from the start. With the introduction of Chosen units, it’s possible to build strong compositions using almost any trait in the game. Getting the right Chosen unit is a game-changer, so it’s important to be mindful when committing to a particular unit.

TFT Mobile keeps improving

TFT Mobile was one of the first League of Legends games developed for smartphones. The ranked system is cross-platform, so players from mobile and PC compete against each other. Ever since its release, the game has been steadily improving, and right now it runs smoothly on most modern mobile devices.

Riot promised to release mobile-exclusive content on TFT Mobile, but that content is yet to reach the store.
