Gen.G has zeroed in on 100 Thieves’ Jay “Liazz” Tregillgas and is reportedly negotiating to acquire the player to its Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster. The team currently has two vacant slots, one of which Liazz will be filling, if the move materializes.

Gen.G has already initiated discussions with the player, according to the report by DBLTAP. 100 Thieves’ young rifler’s move to Gen.G should be quick in order to complete the team’s roster for Flashpoint 2, which is set to kick off in November.

Liazz will be parting ways with his Renegades teammates after playing with them for two years. The North American organization acquired Renegades roster to mark its comeback into the CSGO esports. However, 100 Thieves’ decision to exit CSGO has left the five teammates looking for new homes.

During his tenure in 100 Thieves, Liazz has posted some insane numbers including a rating of whopping 1.16 at the grand final at IEM Beijing. Recently, the ace rifler helped his team secure second position in ESL Pro League and averaged a rating of 1.04.

Liazz’s addition will stabilise Gen.G to a huge extent as the player has storied records in CSGO. Gen.G is in a grave need of a hero as of recent as the team recently lost two players, Sam “s0m” Oh and Damian “daps” Steele, to Valorant.

Flashpoint 2 is just around the corner, and the organization currently has three CSGO players on its payroll. Gen.G’s rifler Hansel “BnTeT” Ferdinand in Flashpoint interview made it clear that the team Bootcamp is all set to kick-off, which could mean that the roster has already completed and official announcements should be expected. The rifler also said that Koosta would remain to be the team IGL.

100 Thieves’ Gratisfaction and AZR are looking for offers

Liazz’s move to Gen.G will leave Sean “Gratisfaction” Kaiwai and Aaron “AZR” Ward to fend for themselves as Joakim “jkaem” Myrbostad has already found a home in Apeks, and Justin “jks” Savage is reportedly moving to Complexity.

More NA teams are switching to Europe and players are finding a career in the blooming Valorant scene. Looking at the current landscape of NA esports, Gratisfaction has announced that he is “open to offers both in CS and Valorant.”

AZR also showed interest in joining a Europe based organization but said that he wouldn’t mind playing for a “right NA based organization.”

The fans will still have to wait for confirmation of Liazz’s move to Gen.G and Jks transfer to Complexity as no official announcement has yet been made.
