September is an exciting time for esports fans, as it welcomes the 10th annual League of Legends World Championship competition.

Teams of elite players from across the globe are gathering in Shanghai to play for big prize money and even greater prestige as of September 25, 2020. This gives interested fans and bettors a great many chances for betting on high-stakes games in the coming weeks. But that action isn’t limited to League of Legends.

Dota 2 betting

The BTS Pro Series Europe also has a number of games coming up in the next week, with Swedish giants Ninjas in Pyjamas taking on Russian team HellRaisers. William Hill bookmakers has NiP down as the favourites to win the first and second maps at odds of 1.73.

NiP have won two of their last five games, drawing two and losing just one. NiP’s official sponsor Betway also offers a broad range of Esports betting markets for their games, as well as some great bonus bet offerings.

It’s even possible to get freebies such as “no deposit free spins” where you don’t even have to make a deposit to be in with a chance of winning, so they are well worth checking out. Be aware though, usually free spins must be used within seven days.

League of Legends betting

Esports has continued to thrive throughout the year 2020, and esports betting markets are seeing more traffic than ever before.

We have already spoken of the League of Legends World Championship. The event’s play-in stage has already begun with American giant Team Liquid defeating Europe’s MAD Lions. Despite significant changes in its roster, Liquid has shown itself to be a force on the international stage.

Liquid proved unable to seal the deal in 2019, dropping out in groups. But the team has changed much since then, and with a victory over MAD Lions it’s looking as though TL might be primed for a big run at this year’s event.

MAD Lions still has potential, though. The Worlds rookies are surely looking to show a better form in their remaining games, and bettors still have more opportunities to follow the team as it tries to better prove itself.
