Complexity adds Nordavind's NaToSaphiX on loan after oBo leaving

After the unexpected departure of Owen "oBo" Schlatter, Complexity has added Nordavind rifler Niels-Christian "NaToSaphiX" Sillassen on a short-term loan.

Nordavind announced the news on the organization's official Twitter account, saying that it had completed a deal with the North American organization for NaToSaphiX effective immediately. The move comes just days after oBo suddenly left both Europe and his place on Complexity with little notice, leaving the organization to field head coach Jamie "keita" Hall in his place for Complexity's ESL Pro League Season 12 matches on September 22.

Complexity sign NaToSaphiX ahead of ESL Pro League playoffs

Soon after the tweet, Complexity announced that NaToSaphiX would stand in as the team's fifth player for the remainder of the ESL Pro League playoffs, which are set to finish up on October 4. The rifler spent time on Sprout and Team Heroic before finding a home at Nordavind in January. Despite decent results, NaToSaphiX found himself on the outside looking in when the team moved him to the bench in August.

Despite the short notice, Complexity's prospects in the ESL Pro League aren't significantly dimmer. While oBo let the team with little time to find a replacement, Complexity has managed to add not only a competent rifler, but one that is already familiar with its in-game leader. IGL Benjamen "blameF" Bremmer spent several months on Heroic before moving to the North American organization, and his time there overlapped with NaToSaphiX, who now finds himself back under one of CSGO's most exciting in-game leaders.

Complexity is currently scheduled to play a best-of-three series against ENCE on Tuesday, September 29 in the opening rounds of the ESL Pro League Season 12 playoffs. Complexity heads into the match on a three-match losing streak, dropping its final EPL regular season match against FaZe 2-1 and two sets in the DreamHack Open Fall Closed qualifiers.
