Legacy Esports vs. INTZ is Worlds 2020's first nailbiter
Legacy Esports took down INTZ in the first real nailbiter at the 2020 League of Legends World Championship play-in stage.
A game between the two little-known teams ended up becoming an intense, 40-minute battle that fans will remember. Plenty of kills, back and forth play, and intense team fights were on the menu but in the end, it was Legacy Esports who had the endurance to close it out.

The game started out great for Legacy Esports who used Nidalee in the jungle to put pressure on the late game scaling composition of INTZ. Legacy jungler Leo “Babip” Romer was everywhere on the map, getting his solo lanes ahead.
Going into the mid game, everything indicated that Legacy would snowball to a victory but INTZ kept waiting for its power spikes. The team fights got closer and closer until INTZ secured the Mountain Soul. With INTZ suddenly in the driver's seed, the game flipped on its head but it still wasn’t over.
The teams kept trading advantages, with INTZ wanting to team fight and Legacy wanting to split push. The different priorities turned into a very chaotic late game until Legacy found a miraculous fight.
The battle yielded both the Elder Dragon and Baron Buff for Legacy, which was finally enough to close out the game despite a shaky performance.
The game was Worlds 2020's first close game, but it definitely won’t be the last. The play-in teams are fearless and not afraid to take a fight. The meta also seems to favor a lot of early game action.
With the win, Legacy takes a top spot in group A together with MAD Lions, while INTZ is now down 0-2 in the group. The Brazilian team will likely need to win out from here in order to maintain any hope of advancing.
