After winning the Fortnite World Cup, Kyle “Bugha” Giersdorf became a millionaire and a household name. But before Epic’s big $30 million Fortnite tournament, Bugha was playing Fortnite for Sentinels. He was pretty well known in the Fortnite community since he was so talented at the game. Still, nobody would have guessed he would win the tournament.

Except perhaps for Bugha himself.

Who is Bugha?

After winning the Fortnite World Cup, Bugha became well known in mainstream media. He even appeared on late night talk shows to discuss his intense training schedule and what he planned to do with the $3 million. He also told ESPN that he wasn’t going to do anything “dumb” with the money and was investing most of it after getting a new gaming setup.

As stated, Bugha won $3 million from the Fortnite World Cup. And since he told Jimmy Fallon he was investing most of the cash, Bugha is most definitely still a millionaire. In fact, his net worth is more around $4 million since he’s placed in so many tournaments before and after the Fortnite World Cup.

Who is Bugha Fortnite

During his interview with Jimmy Fallon, Bugha opened up about his peculiar nickname. When Bugha was a baby, that’s what his grandpa would call him.

“He used to say, ‘Bugha, bugha, bugha,’ and I used to laugh,” Bugha explained, noting that’s where the name originated from.

How old is Bugha?

Bugha was just 16 years old when he won the Fortnite World Cup. He was born on December 30, 2002, making him 17 years old currently. He’ll be turning 18 just before the end of 2020.

What happened to Bugha? Does Bugha still go to school?

Since the Fortnite World Cup, Bugha has been competing in various Fortnite tournaments. This includes a first-place finish at the Fortnite Champion Series: Chapter 2: Season 1 Heat 3 – NA-East in December 2019 and another victory at the Contender Cash Cup Week 5 – NA-East in May. Bugha played in nine tournaments in August alone, and he shows no signs of slowing down his streaming and competing in Fortnite.

When Bugha competed in the Fortnite World Cup he was a student at Pottsgrove High School. His parents had previously stated that he was allowed to play Fortnite as much as he did as long as he also performed well in school. Before streaming so often, Bugha was social with his high school classmates, going to football games and restaurants with friends. While Bugha still goes to school, he’s now enrolled in online classes. That offers a more flexible schedule for the professional Fortnite streamer and competitor.

“He’ll get up, shower, do whatever he has to do, eat, gets on his stream and he’ll start streaming for four, five, six hours,” Bugha’s dad told ESPN. “And then after that he takes a little decompression where he’ll hang out with other friends on the internet where he’ll do stupid plays or side games. He’ll do two hours of schoolwork or whatever he needs to do, chills out, and then repeats that.”

What PC does Bugha use?

According to GMRPC, Bugha uses an Intel Core i9-9900K CPU. It has an ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 2080 Ti GPU. He uses an ASUS ROG Strix Z390-E motherboard, a OLOy Warhawk 32 GB memory, and then an ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro 1TB SSD for his storage.
