The 2020 LCS Summer Split has entered its playoffs stage, which means that the all-pro teams have been announced.

The all-pro teams are based on voting done by LCS players and coaches, including the LCS broadcast team and third-party media. Every participant had to vote for his/her choices of the first, second, and third all-pro team.

Once again, the first all-pro team is dominated by players from Cloud9 who have shown great individual performances throughout the whole year. While Cloud9 didn’t finish at the top in the regular split, they still proved how dominant they can be throughout the first half of the summer split.

Cloud9 takes up three spots on the first all-pro team, with Eric “Licorice” Ritchie, Robert “Blaber” Huang, and Jesper “Zven” Svenningsen showing up as the best in their respective roles. Blaber especially has shown that he is a world-class player who can carry games single-handedly with his early game aggression from the jungle. Zven and Licorice have been two consistent forces on the team, helping their teammates even when they don’t snowball in the early game.

In the mid lane we find the one and only Søren “Bjergsen” Bjerg, who has been carrying Team SoloMid through many close games this split. While Bjergsen is not always the flashiest player, he has been dishing out a lot of damage in important late-game team fights. It’s hard to imagine that TSM would have finished the regular split in fourth place without the leadership of the Danish mid laner.

Jo “CoreJJ” Yong-in seems the only logical choice for the support position. CoreJJ has found his old form and has shown that he is still the best support in the LCS. Team Liquid had a rough spring split while finishing in ninth place, but CoreJJ and the rest of the team have found the spark that everyone had been waiting for.

CoreJJ is also considered one of the favorites to win the summer split MVP award, along with TSM’s Bjergsen.

We cannot forget the second and third all-pro teams, where both veterans and newer faces can be found. All three teams and each player’s point scores can be seen below.

First LCS All-Pro Team

Top – C9 Licorice (102 Points)

Jungle – C9 Blaber (115 Points)

Mid – TSM Bjergsen (115 Points)

Bot – C9 Zven (104 Points)

Second LCS All-Pro Team

Jungle – GG Closer (70 Points)

Mid – (Tie) C9 Nisqy and FLY PowerOfEvil (36 Points)

We still need to see who will be awarded with the coach of the split, rookie of the year, and Honda most valuable player awards. These awards will be announced throughout the LCS summer split playoffs.
