Almost 60,000 viewers tuned in to Herschel “Dr Disrespect” Beahm’s sudden Instagram Live stream, and they were not disappointed with what they were told.

“Dr Disrespect may return to streaming as soon as today. This is some big, big name from the two-time streamer of the year,” an announcer reported.

The video ended with them saying that their sources are “actually legit,” which may be a stab at esports insider Rod “Slasher” Breslau and other journalists who claimed that Dr Disrespect was permanently banned from Twitch for something very serious

Dr Disrespect has still not commented on why Twitch permanently banned him, although he did admit he was taking legal action against the platform in a recent interview. He also made it clear that he won’t be returning to Twitch, leaving many to wonder where the new stream will be taking place.

Where will Dr Disrespect be streaming now?

Dr Disrespect didn’t say during the Instagram Live stream where exactly he will next be streaming, but fans are already speculating that it’s YouTube Gaming.

One fan noticed that a “membership option” was now available on his YouTube profile. Joining the Champions Club on YouTube costs $4.99 per month, the same cost as a traditional Twitch subscription.

Dr Disrespect YouTube Gaming

Excited fans of the Two-Time started bashing Slasher for claiming that Dr Disrespect wouldn’t be signing a deal with YouTube after the ban from Twitch. But Slasher made it clear on his Twitter soon after Dr Disrespect’s announcement that he still believed that to be true.

“Dr Disrespect has not and will not be offered a partnership with [Facebook Gaming or YouTube] at this time, but is free to go live just as any other creator would,” Slasher emphasized.

While some fans continued to mock Slasher for not revealing why Dr Disrespect was banned, others wondered why both platforms were allegedly not open to signing a partnership with the Two-Time. That seemed to further support that Dr Disrespect had been banned from Twitch for a potentially serious reason.

For now, fans will just have to wait and see where Dr Disrespect will stream later today and what he has to say when he does make his return.

Update, 1:36 PM PST: Dr Disrespect is now live on YouTube.
