Erik “Treatz” Wessén will be the starting support for Team SoloMid while Vincent “Biofrost” Wang will be playing for the organization’s Academy team.

TSM has had a rocky year in the bot lane after changing their bot laner twice, and now it’s time for another. This time the team is making a swap in the support position after a tough week 5 where the team lost to both Cloud9 and Immortals.

Luckily for TSM, they have a prominent support on their Academy team in the form of Treatz, who has been dominating the 2020 NA Academy Summer Split. Team SoloMid Academy is currently sitting in first place with a 8-2 record.

Treatz has been a key part of the Academy team for over three splits now, winning the 2019 NA Academy Spring Split. Together with lane partner Lawrence “Lost” Hui they have carried games week after week.

Looking at the stats, Treatz is currently leading the Academy league in assists with a total of 113 over 10 games. He is also the proud owner of a 6.0 KDA, which is the 7th best in the league and the very best amongst the supports.

Biofrost will make his debut in the NA Academy League

While Treatz will be taking over in the bot lane together with Yiliang “Doublelift” Peng, it’s a different story for Biofrost, who will be playing in the Academy League for the first time.

Biofrost rejoined TSM in November 2019 after two years at Counter Logic Gaming. For this split he was reunited with his old partner in crime Doublelift, and expectations were high for the dynamic duo. Sadly, Biofrost has not been able to live up to those expectations despite TSM sitting on a decent 6-4 record.

Biofrost was known for his game-deciding engagements and consistent performances when he and TSM dominated the North American scene in 2017.

Treatz will make his LCS debut on Friday, July 18, where TSM takes on 100 Thieves
