FaZe Clan win after Bymas hits smoothest floor bang of 2020

In today's Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, players and fans see wall bang kills all the time. But a wall bang kill on Nuke from FaZe Clan's Aurimas "Bymas" Pipiras during BLAST Premier's upper-bracket semifinal should have FaZe fans feeling very excited.

In FaZe's first map against Team Vitality for a BLAST Premier grand final spot, Bymas made a huge play that showcased both his aim and his game sense. Up 6-3 against Vitality on Nuke, Håvard "rain" Nygaard took out three Vitality players from vents as Bymas made his way down secret to the B bombsite. Bymas was left alone, stuck on the site's upper catwalk with little cover to work with. It didn't matter, though.

Bymas nabbed the last two kills of the round with a crazy spray transfer, taking out Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut before flicking to his left and putting down a barrage of bullets through the catwalk floor towards the decon door. With the floor bang, Bymas drilled  Kévin "misutaaa" Rabier for the round win.

FaZe fans have had it rough over the past few years with the team always coming close to big wins but never quite being able to pull it off. The loss of Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer Gustafsson and Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács over the past year seemed a poor turn at first, but since has turned out to be a boon for a roster that was once billed as an international superteam.

Aurimas "Bymas" Pipiras came in to fill olof's shoes, and he's done a great job of it since. Bymas is currently sitting at a crazy 45% headshot percentage. His other stats are relatively lackluster, but those can be attributed to the 16-year-old getting accustomed to competing against Europe's top CSGO teams. That said, a 1.02 kill to death ratio and a 67% kill participation rating are big stats for a player so young.

Bymas is currently on trial with FaZe, but if he keeps up the excellent play that he's showcased recently, FaZe Clan will likely look to make his position on the team a permanent one.
