Dennis “dennis” Edman has finally found a home after an extended shuffle between European Counter-Strike teams. Apeks officially announced that they had officially signed the former fnatic rifler to their roster through a post on the team’s official Twitter account.

dennis has been a part of competitive CSGO since the game’s release in 2012, playing for such well-known teams as fnatic, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and GODSENT during his tenure in the game. The popular player commented on the signing in a statement on Apeks’s official Facebook account, revealing that Counter-Strike teams weren’t the only esports organizations interested in the veteran FPS Player.

“I had several teams in Counter-Strike and Valorant that were interested, but the choice was pretty obvious for me,” dennis said.

Fans of CSGO should be relieved to hear that dennis, once considered one of the best pistol players Counter-Strike had to offer, is sticking with the esport. Many CSGO players have jumped ship recently with the release of Riot Games’ Valorant. With dennis officially on the Apeks squad after a lengthy trial period, the team now has a strong core of players to build around.

dennis joins team captain Kristian “akEz” Kornbakk and the rest of what is a predominantly Norweigan team. While the squad’s most recent results haven’t been particularly promising, the instability at the top of the European Counter-Strike scene leaves room for Apeks to rise up the rankings. Apeks’s next matchup comes during the ongoing seventh season of LOOT.bet’s competition, in which they will face off against Nemiga on June 15.
