Figuring out why Amouranth was banned on Twitch for the third time

Twitch partner Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa has been banned from the streaming platform once again. 

What is Amouranth banned for this time?

Amouranth’s Twitter has continued to be a stream of sexy Patreon photoshoots, with no official comment regarding her ban from Twitch. Despite her silence, some fans think her ban was due to a viewer purposely changing their profile picture to a penis during a live broadcast in an attempt to get her suspended. This theory has yet to be proven.

Others just assume it’s another wardrobe malfunction. 

How long will Amouranth be suspended?

Amouranth was suspended for “accidental nudity” in September of 2019 for exposing her genitals on stream. While playing with her dog on the floor, it appeared as though her dress had brushed over, revealing her bottom half. This got her a short 12-hour suspension, leading to quite an outrage in the Twitch community over the suspension’s brevity.

Despite her absence, Amouranth actually broke records for the fastest growing Twitch channel after her NSFW slip-up. 

“It’s literally impossible to predict what will blow up on the internet. This banning drama has made me more relevant than everything I’ve ever done combined,” Amouranth had said at the time. 

Amouranth was banned a second time in March for “inappropriate behavior.” The three-day ban was likely for either filming other people in the gym without their consent or for wearing overly revealing gym clothes. 

“Hi everyone, I have been told that I’m being suspended for something that happened during a gym stream last week. I haven’t seen the vod yet… Waiting for them to show me so I can appeal,” Amouranth said. 

This current mystery suspension is her third. This usually spells trouble for Twitch streamers, since the platform has a “three strikes and you’re out” policy leading to a possible permanent ban.

Since Amouranth is a large streaming partner with a big following, this sort of permanent punishment is highly unlikely. For example, popular steamer Turner “Tfue” Tenney was not permabanned for his third strike when he said racial slurs on a live stream, leading to a huge debate on the seemingly inconsistent and unfair nature of Twitch’s punishments.
