WePlay! Pushka League boasts top Dota 2 teams from the Europe and CIS regions. The group stage of WePlay! Pushka League has ended and it’s time to see teams from both regions vie for the tournament title.

Indeed, exciting matchups in the playoffs are in store for viewers. Team Secret finished strong as the top seed of Group A while Natus Vincere barely made it out alive of Group B. The first round of the playoffs will feature these two teams in an interesting matchup that has loads of history behind it.

Team Secret vs. Natus Vincere betting analysis for WePlay! Pushka League

Team Secret still strong, despite previous early tournament exits

Team Secret is arguably the best team in the world, and it's inarguably the best in Europe right now. The team made its season debut with a dominant run in the DreamLeague Season 13 major and its pedigree of success carries high expectations from fans and bettors.

Unfortunately, Team Secret was not in its best shape in the past couple of tournaments.

During WeSave! Charity Play, Team Secret suffered an unexpected early exit. The team finished fifth place and was unable to make the playoffs.

The disappointing result was followed by another early exit at ESL One Los Angeles Europe and CIS region. Team Secret looked strong in the group stage, going undefeated en route to an upper bracket playoff start. Despite that, it failed to win a single game in the playoffs with their run ending after a shock loss from Vikin.gg.

Secret's group stage run is enough to inspire confidence in the team. The squad defeated Europe’s top teams such as OG, Nigma, and Ninjas in Pyjamas. Although Team Liquid bested Team Secret, it was not enough to knock it down from the top spot.

Team Secret’s WePlay! Pushka League lineup consists of the following players:

  1. Lasse Aukusti "MATUMBAMAN" Urpalainen
  2. Michał "Nisha" Jankowski
  3. Ludwig "zai" Wåhlberg
  4. Yazied "YapzOr" Jarada
  5. Clement "Puppey" Ivanov

The ESL One Los Angeles playoffs flop might scare some off from Secret here, but odds are that the team has learned its lesson.

Natus Vincere rebounding in WePlay! Pushka League

Natus Vincere has posted solid results in the WePlay! Pushka League. The team pulled off a victory against CIS powerhouse Virtus.pro, but was unable to close the series against its sister team, VP.Prodigy.

Na’Vi won several of its group stage matchups in 2-1 fashion. The team's back was against the wall on multiple occasions, but it managed to survive more often than not. Na'Vi finished the group stage with a 4-2 record to earn a spot in the playoffs.

There's a discussion to be had on whether Na'Vi is hitting its stride, or if this performance is an aberration. The team was the first elimination from the ESL One Los Angeles European and CIS league and hasn't looked fearsome at any point in the season.

Na’Vi fields the following players:

  1. Vladislav "Crystallize" Krystanek
  2. Idan "MagicaL" Vardanian
  3. Pavel "9pasha" Khvastunov
  4. Semion "CemaTheSlayer" Krivulya
  5. Ilyas "illias" Ganeev

Na’Vi has been inconsistent, and will be hoping that Secret once again goes into a playoffs slump.

Betting odds, predictions for Team Secret vs. Na’Vi WePlay! Pushka League Group Stage

Team Secret and Na’Vi last faced off at ESL One Los Angeles online, which saw Secret crush Na’Vi with a clean 2-0 sweep. Team Secret is the better team here, but an upset is always possible. Make no mistake, though. Na'Vi winning is a longshot, and the odds reflect that.

A straight bet on Secret winning yields very low rewards, with the odds at Winners.bet currently standing at 1.12 vs. 5.35. Team Secret’s dominance in the group stage does not guarantee a perfect run in the playoffs, as is evident to the team’s previous results. Anyone looking for action on this should look to side markets and single maps rather than taking a flyer or making a very low-risk, low-reward play.
