Alinity banned from Twitch for NSFW wardrobe malfunction
A large swath of the Twitch community finally got what it always wanted. Natalia "Alinity" Mogollon is currently suspended from the popular streaming platform.

Earlier this weekend, Alinity was stuffing a pillow under her shirt while doing an IRL stream, but in the process she ended up exposing one of her breasts by lifting up her shirt a little too far. When she realized what she had done, Alinity backed up from the cam with her hands over her mouth, visibly shaken.
While the streaming community has since gone to Reddit to speculate if she actually lifted up her shirt purposely or not, Alinity took to Twitter to punish herself for the accidental nudity.
"Hey, so regardless of whatever Twitch decides to do, I'm gonna give myself a three day suspension from the platform. I think it is fair," Alinity said.
Streaming community demands Alinity be banned from Twitch
At first it seemed like this would be the extent of her punishment for the flashing, even though Twitch has made it clear in their sexual conduct guidelines that accidental nudity counts as restricted content worthy of a ban.
"As owner of your account, it’s entirely your responsibility to ensure that anything shared on your account abides by Twitch’s Terms of Service (ToS) and Community Guidelines (CG). Content that breaks ToS or CG, whether shown accidentally or on purpose, can be reported and moderation may take appropriate action on that content, including removing the content and issuing a suspension on your account. Given the nature of live content, we expect you to take proper precautions; even one incident may warrant action," Twitch states.
Still, Alinity's Twitch account remained active.
This started to bring up the age-old argument that Twitch's banning system is flawed and inconcistent. Some bigger female streamers have seen three-day suspensions for NSFW wardrobe malfunctions, while some artists have received permanent bans for creating sexually suggestive artwork. Some IRL streamers wear suggestive outfits on stream, or even just body paint, but some male streamers have been banned for showing a sexy photograph on stream. It just seems all over the place to the Twitch community, who have begged Twitch to ban Alinity in the past for feeding her cat alcohol and throwing it across the room, among other animal-abuse related claims. But the ban never came.
Yo, if you guys don't like how Twitch handles bans take it with them. How are their inconsistencies my fault?

Twitch bans Alinity for accidental nudity
Many streamers began to get angry at Twitch as the hours dragged on without any action from their end. Some accounts even started streaming Alinity's slip on a repetitive loop to see if Twitch would ban them for it instead. When their accounts were eventually suspended, they'd question why they were punished and Alinity was not.
But Alinity also had some people on her side. Many streamers and fans pointed out that it was just an accident and she didn't even deserve a ban at all. Others commended her for taking three days off as punishment.
Then, a few hours later, Twitch finally took action. Alinity is currently suspended from Twitch, but nobody is sure how long the suspension will last. Based on similar past instances, it seems like it could be for three days. The same amount Alinity volunteered to impose on herself.
UPDATE: Alinity has revealed that Twitch has banned her for 24 hours, quite a short time for accidental nudity. In response, Alinity has reached out to Twitch asking for her ban to be extended.
24 hours. Not long enough.
