Here's where Riot's next three World Championships will be
Riot Games has revealed the destinations for the next three League of Legends World Championship events.
After facing criticism in 2018 due to the delay in sharing the World Championship dates and locations, Riot has announce in advance the venues for the next three World Championship.
2019 – Europe
After four years, the world’s biggest League of Legends competition returns to the old continent. Europe will host the game’s most important international event next season.
Riot Games did not share details about cities or dates. According to the announcement, the only confirmed destination is Paris, France, where the grand final will take place.
2020 – China
China is the biggest market for League of Legends. With a passionate audience and some of the best esports venues in the world, China will host the World Championship in 2020.
In 2018, Invictus Gaming won the first World Championship title for the LPL. Domestic fans will hope to see another local team lift the trophy in 2020.
2021 – North America
North America has hosted the World Championship on three occasions, including the 2013 event when SK Telecom T1 won its first title. With a growing domestic scene and massive financial investments into the game from across the country, North America has become an influential region for League of Legends and esports in general.

Other International Events
The World Championship is the biggest international event of the year, but it’s not the only one.
The Mid-Season Invitational is one of the most anticipated events, as spring champions from each region compete for bragging rights. All-Stars events reunite the world’s most popular players for a weekend of fun and games.
According to Riot Games, these events will be hosted in areas separate from each year’s World Championship venue. This means that MSI could return to South America, or perhaps go to Southeast Asia for the first time.
