Orgless will take on a reborn Dignitas and some of the most famous players in the world in what might be the most interesting matchup of Flashpoint’s opening weekend.

Dignitas versus Orgless Betting Analysis

Dignitas

Dignitas doesn’t feel comfortable in North America if Christopher “GeT_RiGhT” is to be believed, but that doesn’t lessen the team’s status as a Flashpoint contender. The only thing is, GeT_RiGhT and company have a stand-in playing with them for the next several weeks.

AWPer Håkon “hallzerk” Fjærli might never appear in a Flashpoint match. The player was initially dealing with a visa issue that Dignitas sources told WIN.gg would “take several weeks.” Now, the US travel ban means that hallzerk might not be able to get to Flashpoint’s studios regardless of his visa situation. In his place, Dignitas took on former Natus Vincere sniper Ladislav “GuardiaN” Kovács.

GuardiaN hasn’t played an official match since February 4, so we don’t know quite what to expect from him. That said, he didn’t look great in his return to Na`Vi last year. Regardless of GuardiaN’s form, it would take either something special from Orgless or a historic failure from Dignitas to see Orgless take this match.

Thanks to Dignitas’ foresight, the team has been in the United States for several weeks now and has been unaffected by COVID-19 outside of hallzerk, who wouldn’t have been here anyway. Dignitas is well adjusted to life in California by now, so there’s no travel hangover to worry about.

In fact, the reunited Ninjas in Pyjamas roster has defeated almost every team under it since it joined Dignitas, going 11-3 in fourteen maps in Europe’s open and closed qualifiers for ESL One Rio. While the roster spent the open qualifiers working out the kinks, they seem to be hitting their stride.

Watch for a Nuke pick or ban from either team, as both favor the map but might not be willing to pull it out against each other. If someone does choose Nuke,

Their losses have come on Mirage against Sprout and Overpass and Inferno against a dangerous Fnatic team. They should do fine here.

Dignitas Best Maps:

  • Nuke: 1-0, 100% winrate
  • Vertigo: 2-0, 100% winrate
  • Nuke: 5-2, 71.4% winrate

Dignitas roster for Flashpoint:

  • Patrik “f0rest” Lindberg
  • Christopher “GeT_RiGhT” Alesund
  • Richard “Xizt” Landström
  •  Adam “friberg” Friberg
  • Ladislav “GuardiaN” Kovács (stand-in)
  • Robin “Fifflaren ” Johansson (Coach)

Orgless

Orgless is comprised of an ex-Riot Squad roster led by in-game leader Pujan “FNS” Muheta is a solid second-tier Counter-Strike team, but they aren’t on the level of Dignitas. It would seem that only a signicant failure on DIG’s part would allow an Orgless win here.

While Orgless’ Yassine “Subroza” Taoufik can explode at any moment, his supporting cast is less dynamic, pushing our bet closer to DIG and away from the Orgless roster.

In spite of Orgless defeating Chaos Esports Club in Flashpoint’s qualifiers, Orgless may have worse prospects in the actual league. Orgless can compete with anyone ranked outside of the top 20. But while DIG is ranked 42, they’re much higher than that in reality.

Orgless Best Maps:

  • Train: 5-1, 83.3% winrate
  • Dust2: 3-1, 75% winrate
  • Nuke: 8-4, 66.7% winrate

Orgless roster for Flashpoint:

  • Pujan “FNS” Mehta
  • Matthew “Wardell ” Yu
  • Yassine “Subroza” Taoufik
  • Jaccob “yay” Whiteaker
  • Gage “Infinite” Green

Our pick for Dignitas versus Orgless, Flashpoint 1, Sunday, Match 15:
