Pajkatt replaces ana for reigning TI champions
The current TI champions will start their latest Dota Pro Circuit journey with a new carry player.
OG took a quick break from the competitive scene following the team’s huge success at The International 2018. Without making an appearance in the first Minor and Major tournaments for the 2018-2019 DPC season, OG made a huge announcement when it was decided that Anathan “ana” Pham would be stepping away from the game.
Ana took a temporary break from the scene and told his fans that he needed more time for himself and that his current motivations lie elsewhere. OG did not specify a date for ana’s return but for now he has moved to the squad’s substitute position.
OG has responded to this development by welcoming a new fifth player for the upcoming Chongqing Major. Per Anders "Pajkatt" Olsson Lille will be the new primary carry for the TI8 Champions.
The Swedish player recently played for OpTic Gaming, with a respectable 7th place finish at Ti8 where the team was eliminated by top DPC points earners Virtus.pro. Even after a solid showing at The International, Optic Gaming announced that their Dota 2 team would disband.
Pajkatt has a rich professional Dota 2 background, as he has been party to top-tier teams throughout his career. Pajkatt has spent time with Evil Geniuses, LGD, mousesports, Alliance, and Digital Chaos. His coaching experience with Digital Chaos showed his understanding of the game, a valuable asset that OG will look to take advantage of.
The Swede will look to bring this wealth of experience to his new team. Pajkatt has a wide hero pool and a unique play style with great itemization and minimal late-game mistakes.
