Team Liquid was the most viewed organization of 2019.

Analytical service Esports Charts recently revealed statistics on esports team and organization viewership for the previous year, and Team Liquid was far in the lead of its competitors.

The Los Angeles-based team had 124.4 million hours watched. This is most likely due to the successful team having teams and players in 14 different esports titles. Some of their most-viewed teams included their Dota 2 team, who made it to the finals of The International, the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team that saw unprecedented success in 2019, and a League of Legends team that dominated the LCS and made the finals of the Mid-Season Invitational.

Team Liquid partnered with Esports Charts at the beginning of 2020, which will only further their understanding of their fans’ viewership trends. According to Team Liquid co-CEO Victor Goossens, they will be using this new information to “look into new regions and games.”

Coming in second was G2 Esports, with 102 million hours viewed. Esports Charts believes their viewership was in part thanks to their highly active social media accounts and frequent contests held for their audience. The other part of the equation was their talented Leauge of Legends roster, which garnered viewers throughout the entirety of the Spring and Summer Splits, the Mid-Season Invitational, and for most of the World Championship. G2 also boasted a reasonably successful CSGO team in 2019.

In third place was Fnatic, which has eight different esports teams, including their talented League of Legends and CSGO teams.

T1 came in fourth, with 72 million hours watched, and this was mostly thanks to their League of Legends team. Astralis in fifth place was also buoyed by a single team, with the Danish organization’s CSGO squad continuing to stake its place as the best Counter-Strike team in the world.

No othe team managed more than 50 million combined hours watched, with Natus Vincere and Evil Geniuses being the next closest.
