The list of participating teams at ESL One Los Angeles is already star-studded. The tournament will mark the LAN debut of the two-TI champs OG and its new roster.

The regional qualifiers for ESL One Los Angeles are all done. Teams who survived the gruesome bloodbath are getting ready for a bigger battle. It’s already the middle of the Dota Pro Circuit season and pro teams are jostling for the 12 golden tickets to The International 2020.

Fans are about to witness a different kind of action at ESL One Los Angeles. For starters, OG is back to claim a third Aegis of Champions.

Despite OG’s roster shakeup, the team looked poised to take its first Major title of the year. OG had a flawless run in the European region that’s deemed by man to be the deepest in the world.

Team Secret will most likely rank as the top seed of the DPC rankings after the tournament. If Secret performs as well as most expect, the squad will take at least a third-place finish.

TNC Predator fell short in the Southeast Asia qualifier, while Vici Gaming decided to take a break from the tournament. This will give leeway for Team Secret to claim the top spot.

Fnatic will also have the opportunity to fill in the gap for SEA fans. Upsets from teams such as Adroit, Geekfam, beastcoast, and Thunder Predator cannot be ruled out.

Evil Geniuses is also a strong contender. The team almost succeeded in its aim to finally capture Major glory at the previous DPC event and had an impressive fourth-place finish at MDL Chengdu Major. It’s high time the North American team claims a major title.

Fans also expect former legends Virtus.pro and Natus Vincere to contend in the third major of the season.

In China’s regional qualifier, Invictus Gaming, Royal Never Give Up, and EHOME came out victorious. However, the ongoing coronavirus threat might affect these teams due to imposed travel bans.

The United States has a strict travel ban that affects Chinese nationals and foreigners that have a travel history in China. Chinese teams might be denied entry if the travel ban is not yet lifted by the time of the tournament.

The last remaining spot of the third major awaits the StarLadder ImbaTV Minor’ grand winner.

ESL One Los Angeles will commence on March 15, 2020. The event will be held at Shrine Auditorium in California, USA.
