League of Legends’ new website is live and it features a cleaner design, new champion concept art, and a bunch of bugs.

Once the new official LoL page is opened, the first thing to see is a video background with Riot showcasing many of its popular animations, including Jinx’s song, K/DA, cinematics, and more. The looped video is covered with the League logo, and a “play for free” button, since many find themselves on the page for the purpose of downloading the game.

Right beneath it is a featured news tab, which offers quick access to patch notes and other fresh content such as cinematic trailers and developer updates. New artwork for Akali, Yasuo, Lux, Jinx, Thresh, and Leona are there alongside a general discussion on the different champion types. Akali’s new artwork is further highlighted in a section discussing skins, which shows off her various looks.

There’s enough information there for new players to have an idea of what they’re getting into with League of Legends.

The page now also features a drop-down menu that links out to Riot’s other games such as Legends of Runeterra, Wild Rift, and Teamfight Tactics.

A sleek design of League of Legends’ new website ruined with bugs

While this is all nice, Reddit user u/Naerlyn shared a long list of problems that could be found on the site when it launched.

For example, backlinks for news were broken, there was missing content, a few champions’ pages weren’t finished, and there were some editing mistakes in the text. Riot seems to have fixed all those issues in less than two days, but it’s still somewhat silly to see a variety of oversights.

Regardless, League of Legends fans both new and old can find something of interest on the new official website. Make sure to check it out.
