2XKO play test date and registration: How to sign up

Riot’s 2v2 fighter 2XKO has an upcoming alpha lab for fighting game fans that want to test the game ahead of its release. Here’s how to sign up and start fighting as your favorite League of Legends champions.
2XKO just announced a new champion coming to the battle. Braum will be a bulky support that utilizes his shield from the Rift. His abilities are still unknown and fans are anxious to try him out as soon as possible.
When is the next 2XKO play test?
There have been some limited opportunities to test out 2XKO early, including last year’s EVO 2023 and this year’s EVO 2024 Japan. You can test out Braum and the rest of the fighters at EVO 2024 in Las Vegas, which takes place July 19-21.
If you can’t make it in person to the action-packed fighting game event, there will be an at-home playtest from August 8 to the 19th.

How to play in the 2XKO alpha lab
Want to try out the 2v2 League of Legends-inspired fighter for yourself? Here’s how to sign up for the next 2XKO alpha lab:
- Head to the official 2XKO website
- Scroll to the bottom and press “Sign Up”
- You’ll be taken to a registration page where you can select “Register”
- You will need to enter your Riot profile information to register. If you don’t have one, you need to create one!
After this, you’ll get updates on the alpha lab in the email you used to make your Riot account. The first email you’ll get is a survey that asks you about your experience with fighting games. You’ll need to fill this out to be considered for the alpha test so keep a lookout.
From here, you’ll need to wait and see if you are selected to take part in the playtest in August!
