GODSENT have signed a new Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster.

The Swedish organization announced that it has signed the players of NoChance, comprised of Martin “STYKO” Styk, Mikail “Maikelele” Bill, Kevin “kRYSTAL” Amend, Pavle “Maden” Bošković, Jesse “zehN” Linjala, and coach Jonatan “Devilwalk” Lundberg.

This comes following NoChance’s reformation following the squad’s split from SMASH Esports after less than two months. The team was released by the SMASH organization earlier this week and have since claimed they are owed money.

GODSENT finally back in CSGO after brand revival

GODSENT was formed in 2016 by Fnatic star and three-time major winner Markus “pronax” Wallsten. Despite being captained by a player with a peerless resume at the time and bringing in a number of top Swedish players, the organization never came close to matching the success of Fnatic.

The organization looked solid at events after forming, but began to struggle after finishing ninth at the ELEAGUE Major Atlanta in 2017. In 2018, pronax split off from the roster to join Digital Chaos. The organization ceased operations several weeks later.

GODSENT was revived in September after merging with The Final Tribe, another Swedish brand that competes across several titles including Dota 2, League of Legends, Fortnite, and Hearthstone. Though The Final Tribe fielded a CSGO roster earlier in the year, the squad was released shortly before the merger with GODSENT.

The NoChance team has performed fairly well throughout 2019 in European regional tournaments. The lineup’s biggest win came in October, where it won LOOT.BET CS Season 4.

This lineup doesn’t have the star power of early GODSENT, where pronax was joined by the likes of Robin “flusha” Rönnquist, Jesper “JW” Wecksell, and Freddy “KRIMZ” Johansson. Despite that, the addition of the NoChance gives GODSENT an established team that should remain competitive against formidable opponents.

The new GODSENT roster will make its competitive debut against ForZe at WePlay! Forge of Masters Season 2.
