The Seoul Dynasty have signed four new players to their roster ahead of season two of the Overwatch League.

Off-tank Choi “Michelle” Min Hyuk, main tank Hwang “Marve1” Min Seo, and Lee “Jesce” Seung Soo were the three players added to the team. Coach Lee “WhyNot” Juhyeop was also announced to be joining.

Earlier in the offseason the Dynasty released three players: Gong “Miro” Jin-hyeok, Moon “Gido” Gi-do, and Choi “Wekeed” Seok-woo. The team also added former Los Angeles Gladiators main tank Baek “Fissure” Chan-hyung.

The Dynasty are going into season two following a disappointing debut effort. Fans were frustrated by their inability to qualify for the playoffs in season one. The team finished in eighth place overall in season one, two spots short of the qualifying sixth place slot that would have secured them an opportunity in the playoff.

Last season with the Gladiators, Fissure was reported to be complaining about the lack of communication between his teammates. It was also reported that he wished to go to an all-Korean team. Although Fissure vehemently denied allegations of his discontent, the Gladiators’ first roster change was an announcement that the MVP nominee would be moving to the Dynasty.

Jesce, who comes from Contenders team Element Mystic, saw some success in the second season after tying for third place in the league’s Korean division. In the same division for season two, Marve1 and Michelle led team Lucky Future Zenith to victory.

With these additions, the Dynasty will look to finally live up to fan expectations.
