Team SoloMid Fortnite streamer Daequan “Daequan” Loco posted a video explaining his absence from Twitch.

The content creator has become significantly less active on social media than he previously was, and detailed why in a 20-minute-long video on YouTube. The reasons are unfortunately numerous.

He opened up that in the past couple of months, he had lost family members to illness as well as some friends to gun violence. Unfortunately, his real-life struggles don’t end there.

The steamer also discussed his personal health issues, which include severe back pain that prevents him from sitting in front of the computer. According to TSM’s Daequan, he has been working on his physical problems with help from a professional and is on his way to a full recovery.

Finally, he recounted that his current girlfriend has also been struggling with her health. Daequan shared a heart-wrenching story about the guilt he has been struggling with as he encouraged her to seek a treatment that ultimately made her sicker.

What’s next for TSM Fortnite star Daequan?

The TSM Fortnite star closed the video on a positive note and got back to streaming right after it went live.

Daequan is part of the TSM Fortnite trio that joined the organization back in 2018. Daequan, Darryle “Hamlinz” Hamlin, and Ali “Myth” Kabbani were the first TSM Fortnite players. The trio moved to California to the TSM Fornite house.

Daequan, Hamlinz, and Myth are among the most popular Fortnite streamers on Twitch and have remained popular despite experiencing a dip in competitive success in 2019. The trio has been open about their personal struggles to keep a balance between their streaming career and their personal life. They are also very vocal about the state of Fortnite as a game and are open about it when they disagree with Epic Games’ decisions.

While Myth and Daequan continue to stream, Hamlinz has also been missing from the platform. His last retweet was on August 14.
