xQc has no pity for artists banned from Twitch for NSFW drawings

Not everyone is sympathetic to the artists who were recently banned from Twitch for their suggestive drawings. 

Twitch personality and former Overwatch pro player Felix “xQc” didn’t have kind words for the artists facing suspensions from the streaming platform. In a Just Chatting stream on September 18, xQc seemed annoyed at the artists’ confusion over the bans. 

“No shit, dude! They say, ‘Oh, I only drew 2D titties. There’s 3D on Just Chatting!’ No, no!” xQc exclaimed to his followers. 

This was a reference to pin up artist Sareui’s comment that women were on Twitch “squatting in front of the webcam, showing off their ass.” She had also retweeted a meme on the streaming platform’s possible inconsistent punishments regarding lewd content. 

But xQc wasn’t so sure that the drawings were equally innappropriate. He expressed that the drawings went beyond what the Just Chatting women did for views. 

“There’s actual watery, open, fucking pussy mounds in those fucking drawings. No shit you’re going to get banned!” xQc yelled.

The former Overwatch League pro also got up to demonstrate the poses that the artists often used, completely bending over with his butt to the camera. 

“Dude! They draw the fucking backwards, like, entire pussies with like water on the sides. Like, dude, no shit you’re gonna get banned! What the fuck?” xQc concluded.

The two artists that were recently banned on Twitch were known for their lewd drawings of women, usually based on anime or video game characters. One artist in particular, Sareui, had expressed confusion over Twitch’s rules and double standards.

Sareui and her followers felt that her drawings accurately represented female characters from games like Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball, which are provacative games that are allowed to be streamed on Twitch. She also noted that Just Chatting streamers are never reprimanded for sexy poses or outfits either, making it seem like artists on the platform were being singled out. 

The Twitch art community feels worried about its collective right to freely express creative works.

“I think that’s really sad for us. That we can’t be able to draw at least nudes,” Sareui said. “We should be able to draw nude, but you know without the tits, asshole and pussy, you know? Just like a Barbie doll. We should be able to draw that on stream, so if that someone wants to learn how to draw anatomy, they can.”

Of course, not everyone agrees that their intentions are so innocent. xQc seems to think otherwise.
