As The International 2018 gets closer, fan favorites Virtus Pro commit to play with the same roster until the end of 2019.
The top Dota Pro Circuit points earner remains a consistent and stable roster. With four major titles garnered during their DPC run, it is not a surprise that management for Virtus Pro fully trust their roster to conquer the competitive scene.
The community will be seeing more of Virtus Pro players Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev, Vladimir "No[o]ne" Minenko, Pavel "9pasha" Khvastunov, Vladimir "RodjER" Nikogosyan, and Alexei "Solo" Berezin as a cohesive unit.
"Long-term contracts are rare in the esports world, but they are key to long-lasting partnerships. This way, we're taking another important step in the direction of enforcing a more rigid set of rules that are already universally accepted in the traditional sports.," said Virtus Pro General Manager Roman Dvoryankin.
"As obvious as it may sound, Virtus Pro is our second family," said team captain Solo.
The team bagged approximately $2.5 million through their DPC tournaments this year, but they are eyeing even more. TI8 offers not just massive prestige, but also the biggest prize pool in all of esports.
