Veteran Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player Jarosław “pashaBiceps” Jarząbkowski has joined up with Polish team AGO on a trial basis.

The organization announced on Twitter that they are observing a few players to fill three available slots with the team. Alongside pashaBiceps will be Patryk “Sidney” Korab and Adrian “SAYN” Łączyński. The pair are also trying out for AGO. They’ll be aiming to join Damian “Furlan”  Kisłowski, Dominik “GruBy” Świderski, and coach Mikołaj “miNIr0x” Michałków in completing the roster.

The organization also has teams in StarCraft 2 and Fortnite alongside CSGO, and has accumulated total prize pool winnings of over half a million dollars.

Pasha’s contract with Virtus.pro was terminated in February with the player having been inactive since December 2018. Since his release, he has been playing for Polish team Youngsters in several online tournaments. The team is currently seventh in the Polish domestic rankings.

During his five-year span with Virtus.pro, pasha won more than 10 tournaments including the EMS One Katowice 2014 Major. He was given the MVP award for that tournament and has placed as high as number three in the Top 20 Players of the Year list at HLTV, with that highest of rankings coming in 2014. He helped Virtus.pro become a top force is CS:GO through 2016.

2017 saw the beginning of the decline for Virtus.pro, and in 2018 they finished last in the London Major, triggering significant roster changes.

In a statement made when he left Virtus.pro, pasha said that he would “take a small break, but Papito will be back like Terminator — better and stronger.”

PashaBiceps is one of the most entertaining and popular figures in professional CSGO, and at 31 years old is proof that esports success is not necessarily just a young person’s arena. Fans will be hoping this trial is successful and that the AGO roster builds up and returns to some top-tier events in the future.
