Washington Justice's new tank duo not playing Stage 4 due to Visas

The Washington Justice's two new tank players won't be able to compete in Stage 4.

Newly signed Elliot "ELLIVOTE" Vaneryd and Lukas "LullSiSH" Wiklund won't be playing in Season 2 thanks to visa complications according to Justice vice president Grant Paranjape. Instead, the tank mains will make their debut in the global 2020 season

Paranjape went on to tweet that the Swedish visa application process currently has a long wait time. Paired with developer Blizzard's slowed down approval process thanks to some last-minute roster signings, ELLIVOTE and LullSiSH won't be able to play in Stage 4.

ELLIVOTE tweeted that they'll be cheering for the team from Sweden. In the mean time, ELLIVOTE said he'll be playing Minecraft

"Unfortunately, me and Elli are not going to participate in this stage due to Visa delays," said LullSiSH on Twitter. "We're gonna be cheering on the team from home, and hopefully we'll get to see some of the guys at the World Cup."

Washington Justice sign two tanks

The two tank specialists signed with the Washington Justice before Stage 4 began. They both began competing in Overwatch professionally in 2017 as part of the Swedish team Vivi's Adventure. ELLIVOTE and LullSiSH then joined Angry Titans to compete in the European Contenders league. Later that year they joined Team Envy, Dallas Fuel's academy squad.

The Washington Justice defeated the Toronto Defiant last week, but they're still ranked just 19th in overall standings for Season 2. This has disqualified them from the season playoffs, but they can still continue to flex their strengths in the 2-2-2 meta in their upcoming match against the Florida Mayhem.

Meanwhile, ELLIVOTE and LullSiSH will be playing for Sweden in the upcoming Overwatch World Cup.
