Despite a strong Dota Pro Circuit season, Mineski struggled to perform at The International and will now shake up the team’s roster.

The new roster for Southeast Asia’s top team has been revealed, and it features an almost complete overhaul.

Just two players are set to return to Mineski from the previous roster. Kam “Moon” Boon Seng, who played mid for the team throughout the last year, will continue those duties into next season. Chai “Mushi” Yee Fung will also remain with Mineski, but will transition from playing carry to support.

Leaving Mineski are Daryl Koh “iceiceice” Pei Xiang, Anucha “Jabz” Jirawong, and Michael “ninjaboogie” Ross. All three will be rivals to Mineski next season, with iceiceice and Jabz joining Fnatic and ninjaboogie leaving for TnC Predators.

The gaps left by these departures are set to be filled by an interesting trio in Damien “kpii” Chok, Kim “Febby” Yong-min, and Thiay “JT-” Jun Wen.

Febby and kpii are likely familiar names for most Dota 2 fans, with former MVP Phoenix and Fnatic support player Febby returning to SEA following a stint with Immortals, and Kpii breaking off from Newbee after a strong run as the team’s offlaner. The carry duties, meanwhile, will be taken on by JT-, a relative newcomer to the pro scene who most recently played for Geek Fam.

The lineup is packed with proven, enduring talent and enters the new season as perhaps the best team in Southeast Asia.  It will have the chance to earn that reputation in practice when the Kuala Lumpur Major qualifiers begin.
