Dignitas has signed a three-year partnership deal with betting platform VIE.gg.

“I am very proud of this new partnership with Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment and their Dignitas esports brand, which is founded in our shared common beliefs of player safety above all else,” Esports Entertainment Group’s CEO Grant Johnson said.

Esports Entertainment Group’s VIE.gg will be an esport jersey sponsor for three of Dignitas’ teams. This includes Rocket League, Super Smash Bros., and the women’s Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team.

The betting platform is also receiving promotion through Dignitas’ website and social media. Their players and streamers will be co-hosting 12 streams that revolve around esports betting. Their website will add a tracker, showing current betting information for League of Lgends, CSGO, Dota 2, Overwatch, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, Call of Duty, Hearthstone, and StarCraft 2.

“I look forward to sharing our incredible product with Dignitas’ highly engaged fan base over the next three years and beyond. For Esports Entertainment Group, a partnership of this caliber is a significant milestone for our shareholders and tremendous validation of both our P2P esports wagering model and future plans within the esports world,” Johnson said.

Dignitas recently acquired a League of Legends team through a merger with Clutch Gaming. They will be competing in the LCS under Dignitas’ banner next year. LCS commissioner Chris Greeley made it very clear to WIN.GG that Dignitas would not be allowed to have a betting sponsor on their LCS team jerseys.

“Betting and gambling is currently a prohibited sponsorship category for LCS teams,” he stated.
