T1 Entertainment and Sports has formally introduced its North American Fortnite roster with a series of new videos.

Alex “Sofa” Kolich, Cody “Fulmer” Fulmer, and Ami-El “Persecute” Adams are the three new members of the T1 franchise family. Fulmer and Sofa were previously announced to be joining the new team, and Persecute stands as the latest addition to the squad.

The trio is now based in a team house in California and will be taking part in the different Fortnite competitions available to them. The players are a young group that started playing Fortnite in late 2017.

Sofa dropped out of college to pursue a full-time career in esports. Fulmer also dropped out of college and joined the organization after some time spent grinding the game.

“Being on T1 is an honor, I played League of Legends so I know about T1 and Faker,” Fulmer said in a video released on T1’s official Twitter account. “Never in a million had I thought I would in T1, it’s just amazing.”

Persecute is 18 years old and the youngest member of the squad, and he was the third player to sign.

“T1 means a lot to me. I think it’s a really heavy weight on my shoulders knowing everything that T1 has done and its legacy,” Persecute said in his personalized video. “It’s pretty nerve wracking, but in a way it makes me want to try so I can say ‘I’m part of that legacy, I played for T1 and made them have one of the best Fortnite teams in the scene’.”

T1 is a joint venture formed by SK Telecom T1 and American company Comcast Spectacor in February 2019. T1 currently has a presence in numerous competitive games, including Hearthstone, Super Smash Brothers, PUBG, and most notably League of Legends. The organization’s League of Legends team is arguably the most well known squad in the world.
