FlyQuest announces the new Women's Flightwear clothing line
Women's esport apparel has been a bit lackluster to date, but FlyQuest is looking to change that.
Announced earlier today, the FlyQuest Women's Flightwear line offers a sports bra, leggings, crop hoodie, lounge shorts, a baseball tee, and a crop top for female fans. These unique clothing items were designed by women who work at FlyQuest, led by COO Tricia Sugita.
The shapes and colors are new to the esports industry, like the pink and white baseball tee, or the stylishly cropped hoodie. Prices range from $24.99 to $69.99, depending on the style. Check out the collection here.
"We started this project last year because we wanted to give more choices to women in esports. Every piece in this line has been designed from the ground up by the women of FlyQuest for women who want to feel comfortable and confident in what they wear to express themselves," Sugita said.
Available on May 24, 50 percent of all net profits from FlyQuest Women's Flightwear will be donated to Women for Women International. The esports organization will also provide a yearlong training program for five women, focused on vocational and business skills, health education, and social support.
Women for Women International is a nonprofit that supports marginalized women in countries greatly affected by conflict and war. Their social and economic empowerment programs provide these women with opportunities and new connections.
This is one of many partnerships that has made FlyQuest stand out in the esports industry despite being relatively new on the scene. Founded in 2017, FlyQuest currently sponsors both League of Legends and Fortnite teams.
