After the first four weeks of the 2021 LCS Summer Split, 100 Thieves new mid laner Felix “Abbedagge” Braun is already pulling off some incredible stats and impact on Summoner’s Rift.Â
It was with big expectations when 100 Thieves announced Abbedagge as its new mid laner for the summer split back in April. So far, the former Schalke 04 player has lived up to all those expectations and likely also exceeded most. With the current top spot in the LCS standings and a clean sweep in week 4, 100 Thieves is aiming to win its first LCS trophy and the addition of Abbedagge is one of the big reasons for that.Â

Everyone knew that Abbedagge was a great player coming into the LCS after five splits in the LEC. His consistency and wide champion pool is something that 100 Thieves has been needing for a while, after failing to succeed with several mid laners in the past.
Now that Abbedagge has joined the squad, 100 Thieves is finally starting to look like the LCS’ top team that the organization has always aimed to be. While 100 Thieves has previously reached the LCS final and even the League of Legends World Championship, the roster has never looked as strong as it does right now.Â
Abbedagge definitely has his say in the recent success, as he is currently topping several big statistics among LCS mid laners. After playing all 12 games so far this split, he is the mid laner with the highest KDA at 7.1. The only exception is Dignitas’ Max “Soligo” Soong, but he has only played three games this split and is no longer acting as a starting mid laner in the league.Â
Besides the impressive KDA, Abbedagge is also leading all mid laners in XP differential after 10 minutes. This stat speaks to his great early-game laning phase, which has proven to be even stronger than in the LEC. Abbedagge has played a lot of Azir and Karma with success, but also had big performances on Akali. His champion pool has been wide so far, with seven different champions played during the first 12 games of the split.Â
If the KDA and XP differential wasn’t enough for the German talent, Abbedagge is keeping up well with the rest of the league in gold and CS differential as well. Naturally, he is in the top three as well in those categories while being third in overall CS per minute between the mid laners.
If Abbedagge and 100 Thieves want to win the LCS trophy, they will have to keep up the pace and keep the likes of TSM, Cloud9, and Team Liquid behind them in the standings. So far it’s looking great and it seems likely that Abbedagge will qualify for his first world championship.Â
100 Thieves revamped its roster completely for the 2021 season by picking up four prominent names from Golden Guardians. After a decent spring split, 100 Thieves ramped up once again by importing Abbedagge from the LEC.Â
