How NEEX turned pro CSGO fame into a Kick streaming career

Sebastian “NEEX” Trela first made a name for himself as a Polish professional Counter-Strike player, but the CSGO veteran has now grown far beyond those beginnings through the power of streaming on Kick.
Video game content is among the most-streamed broad categories on Kick. This can include everything from the open-worlds of Grand Theft Auto V to a competitive game like popular MOBA League of Legends. Many fans like to tune in to watch their favorite content creators play while adding commentary and engaging with the chat. Some streamers bring a special level of expertise to their play, and NEEX is certainly among that number.
NEEX began his career as a professional CSGO player, but he’s since transitioned to streaming on Kick. That doesn’t that he’s given up the love of the game, however, as he continues to put his skills on display for his ever-growing audience.
NEEX goes from pro CSGO player to Kick streamer
Originally gaining fame as a professional CSGO player, NEEX now spends much of his time streaming on Kick as he has transitioned from competitive play to content creation.
The Polish esports player first went pro in CSGO in 2014 with Black Ravens as an AWPer. During NEEX’s eight-year tenure on the pro CSGO circuit, he helped his teams to place first at multiple minor events including the Global Grand Masters and Skylla October 2016. He ended his pro player run with a five-month stretch on Smash Esports where he posted a solid average rating of 1.05 before deciding to switch gears in his online career.
In 2020, NEEX switched his professional focus to Valorant, joining Fordon Bears. His Valorant career didn’t last nearly as long as his CSGO one, though, nor was it as successful. NEEX finished out with Ungentium at the tail end of 2021 with little to show for his efforts.

NEEX had other options available to him, however, using his charismatic presence to transition into streaming and content creation. He now streams under the handle “NEEXcsgo” on Kick and can frequently be found playing Counter-Strike 2 there. With over 6,000 matches logged on competitive platform Faceit, he boasts an impressive 55% win rate and 1.38 average K/D ratio.
He maintains other links to CS as well, including promoting a CS2 skin trading option on his Kick page.
Besides his high-level CS2 play, fans enjoy NEEX for his just chatting content and general sense of humor. He reminds his viewers that much of what he does is exaggerated and that it isn’t serious.
Pro esports streamers are taking over Kick
NEEX is not the only pro esports streamer to join Kick, as others are using their fame and competitive skills to grow their audience on the streaming platform.
One of the biggest names on Kick is Felix “xQc” Lengyel, a former pro Overwatch player for Dallas Fuel who transitioned into full-time streaming in 2020. He is now one of the biggest names on Kick with over one million followers and a massive contract to boot.
Other esports professionals on Kick include Dota 2 player Danylo “Dendi” Ishutin and League of Legends player Ferit “wtcN” Karakaya.
Kick has taken advantage of promoting a wide variety of games and the gamers who play them, including at the pro level, and has deepened its esports connections through hosting pro tournaments.
In September 2025, both StarSeries Fall 2025 (in CS2) and Fissure Playground 2 (in Dota 2) were streamed exclusively on Kick. This set a precedent for the platform to seek out exclusive streaming rights with esports tournament hosts to better build a reputation as a home for top-level esports competitions. It could also incentivize other former and current professional players and teams to make the jump to Kick in the future.
NEEX is steadily building his Kick audience of both old fans from his CSGO days and new fans who’ve arrived to enjoy his personality-driven streaming. While he is not yet among the very most-watched streamers on Kick just yet, he maintains strong viewership that continues to grow and could soon see him join those lofty ranks.
