There are multiple storylines heading into this matchup, as the main NAVI roster will take on the former NAVI Junior roster. Having developed in the academy team before getting promoted to the main roster, this also means makazze will take on his former teammates who are now wearing the FUT jersey.

NAVI had a mediocre Swiss Stage campaign, but turned on the heat once they made it to the LAN stage. The international roster took down The MongolZ in convincing fashion, dominating Mirage – their opponent’s map pick. Keep this in mind as it’ll play an important role later.

FUT, on the other hand, pulled off an upset to send tournament favorites MOUZ packing, and are now looking like a real threat. This is a young squad with nothing to lose and everything to gain, and you can bet they’ll give it their all against NAVI as they look to book a ticket to their first grand final.

The veto will play a key part in this matchup. NAVI are likely to pick Ancient, which has been their best map for a while. Meanwhile, FUT should lean to Mirage, as they have found massive success on that map.

Both teams are favored to win their map picks, as the opposing side has a negative win rate on each of those maps. However, we saw NAVI mauled The MongolZ on Mirage even though it was picked into them. That result inspires a lot of confidence in NAVI.
