NaVi and Furia Esports are continuing this busy start to the 2025 Counter-Strike season by facing off in the BLAST Open Spring group stage.

Counter-Strike esports is a constant grind for both the competitors and bettors. From IEM Katowice to PGL Cluj-Napoca to ESL Pro League Season 21, it’s been a scramble in 2025. Things aren’t slowing down, though.

BLAST Open Spring comes next and it features a mix of CS2 elites and regional standouts. In this case, NaVi is the established elite while Furia is the regional standout. Here’s a full betting guide for this match.

NaVi vs Furia one of the first round group stage matches in BLAST Open Spring 2025. The match is a best-of-three and will go down on March 20, 2025. The winner advances forward in the upper bracket while the loser drops to the lower bracket.

NaVi has been generally strong over the last several months, placing highly in multiple tournaments. It suffered a comparatively early exit from ESL Pro League Season 21 after taking a surprise loss to The MongolZ, but NaVi is still comfortably ranked among the best teams in Counter-Strike today.

Over the last 12 months, NaVi has a 66% or better record on Mirage, Dust 2, Ancient, and Anubis. It also has a winning record on both Nuke and Inferno. This is to say that NaVi is very strong on all maps. The only question mark is the recently returning Train, where NaVi has a 1-0 record.

Furia Esports roster and recent results

Furia has been the South American representative in many prominent tournaments over the last year, but hasn’t really performed well at any point. Its peak has been into the middle of the proverbial pack, save for a feelgood top-four finish in IEM Rio 2024.

Here is Furia’s roster at the event, highlighted by outspoken star FalleN:

Furia Esports map pool

Furia’s best map is Dust 2 and it has a solid record on Anubis. However, over the last six months it has a losing record on Inferno, Nuke, and Mirage. Furia hasn’t played on Ancient during this stretch, so don’t expect that to change here.

Over the last 12 months, NaVi and Furia have played against each other three times. NaVi have won twice, while Furia took one match. Their last showdown came recently, with NaVi getting a 2-0 win over Furia in the IEM Katowice group stage.

NaVi is a big 1.27 favorite over Furia in BLAST Open Spring 2025. Furia’s moneyline is currently sitting at 3.73. The Brazilian team is facing long odds, and that’s understandable given how strong NaVi has looked of late.

Core picks

Prediction

NaVi should be able to defeat Furia in the group stage of BLAST Open Spring, but Furia probably won’t go gently. Though Furia is deservedly a big underdog, the final scores are likely to be something akin to 13-10 or 13-8 than the 13-4 that the moneylines seemingly suggest.
