World number 2 team NAVI are looking for another grand final appearance, while a FaZe Clan roster with a stand-in are looking to pull off their “FaZe Magic” yet again.

Aleksib and the squad have had a clean run in Fort Worth so far, winning both of their group stage matches 2-0 to easily get a fast pass to the semi-finals. These victories came against FaZe Clan and GamerLegion, both of whom also made it to the semi-finals.

To be completely honest, it’s hard to doubt NAVI in their current form. They’ve easily beaten every team in the world except for their kryptonite – Vitality – and they’ve already shown they can beat FaZe Clan without too many issues. The team’s star rookie makazze is even the highest-rated player at the event, averaging a 1.47 rating.

On the other side, we have FaZe Clan – a team that had just lost its storied in-game leader. Expectations were relatively low for them coming into this event, as the boys in red have exited dead-last in most events they’ve played in 2026. However, a breath of fresh air in the form of Neityu seems to have reignited the roster.

FaZe took down two very strong opponents, sending FURIA and G2 Esports home in very close matches. Though the new roster understandably hasn’t looked too stable yet, we at least know they’re capable of putting up a good fight.
