There are just three spots left in the PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026 playoffs, and as NAVI and G2 Esports will soon go head-to-head for one of them, our preview breaks down the match, its odds, and the best picks bettors can make.

Match PGL Cluj-Napoca Group Stage
Kick-off February 18, 2026 at 11 am ET
Top pick G2 wins
Betting favorite NAVI

The top contenders of the tournament have already earned their spots in the playoffs, with Team Vitality, Team Falcons, Furia, The MongolZ, and MOUZ all advancing. NAVI and G2 Esports are both sitting at 2-2 and wound up drawing each other for an elimination match. So which team should you bet on winning this one?

CS2 betting tip: This match is looking generally even, but G2’s solid recent form is being overlooked by most sportsbooks.

My NAVI vs G2 Esports pick: G2 wins at 1.95 at GG.BET

Even with a few top Counter-Strike 2 teams opting out of PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026, the competition here has been fierce. While the biggest demonstration of this is FaZe Clan’s surprisingly early exit from the event, part of it is also NAVI and G2 swinging against the tournament favorites.

Unfortunately, the two are now in a spot where they’ll need to compete over just one of the final few playoff spots, sending one team home earlier than expected.

G2 has been fighting against elimination in the Swiss stage from Round 3 on after a slow start. The side has won two consecutive matches since, though its best performance might actually have been a close tournament-opening series loss to Vitality that went a full three maps. NAVI’s tournament run has been more up-and-down each day, and G2 may have the hotter hand coming into this round.

More than anything else in this match, the performance of Nikita “HeavyGod” Martynenko is likely to be the determining factor. Though each player here has a key role, success has been scarce for G2 without HeavyGod playing a key factor and rating well for his side.

From a betting perspective, G2 should be favored in advance, but live bettors need to keep a close look at how HeavyGod is performing as the match progresses to get a better read on NAVI’s chances.

Over 2.5 maps 1.93

CS2 odds pulled from GG.BET at 8:30 pm MT on February 17, 2025.

From a betting perspective, this match is a tough one to approach. Our preview sees G2 and NAVI as fairly similar teams in terms of their overall performance. NAVI arguably has the higher ceiling, but G2 has looked sharper of late at PGL Cluj-Napoca.

The most exploitable lines to look at are the rounds played for each map. NAVI and G2 Esports are capable of both folding early and capturing the momentum to secure an early win. That means there are some solid flyers in the map handicap and total rounds categories. Of course, much of that depends on which maps will be played.

G2 has looked very good on Mirage and Overpass. NAVI has been playing well on Ancient and Inferno. Keep an eye on the veto here for a late betting edge.

Our pick: G2 as the match winner at 2-1 at 3.72 odds at GG.BET.
