Our pickNAVI to win, over 2.5 maps

NAVI may have positively surprised many fans with its performance in the LEC Versus split, but the team is still going into the playoffs as the underdog. With the team now facing off against Fnatic in the playoffs’ upper bracket quarterfinals, this is the perfect time for NAVI to prove its skills with major stakes on the line.

Betting tip: Despite Fnatic’s lack of consistency in this split, the team should perform well enough to win at least one game against upstart NAVI.

Our NAVI vs Fnatic pick: Total maps to be over 2.5 @ 2.03.

Fnatic ended 2025 on an extremely poor note, being one of only two teams at the 2025 League of Legends World Championship to be eliminated without winning a single match. Despite the team getting a new mid-laner in the form of Vladi, it barely qualified for the LEC Versus playoffs.

By contrast, NAVI surprised many by staying at the top of the standings, suggesting its roster has the potential to be the dark horse in the postseason.

NAVI’s biggest strength is its bottom lane. SamD and Parus are both extremely reliable as the team’s ADC and support players, especially when Rhilech plays a carry jungler. While Maynter and Poby could do better in the top and middle lanes respectively, but they perform well as support champions. By contrast, Fnatic relies too much on its jungler, Razork, which means that NAVI could have a good chance to win if it targets him from the start.

Fnatic knows that it cut it close in the regular season and may want to switch up its playing style because of that. It wouldn’t be surprising if the team played more passively here, but NAVI showcased that it knows how to be aggressive in its match against G2. Banking on that same aggressiveness here, it may be a good idea to side with NAVI getting first blood in the match.

While Fnatic is a big name in the European League of Legends scene, the team hasn’t really shown that it deserves it recently. Despite being the underdog here, there’s a strong chance that NAVI will emerge victorious in this match and move on to the upper bracket semifinals. This makes siding with NAVI as the match’s winner a potentially good idea, especially considering this pick holds more potential because of NAVI’s status as the odds underdog.

None of this means that things will be easy in the match. NAVI still struggles with a fairly limited champion pool, which could play a huge role when the match isn’t a best-of-one and the side must deal with fearless draft rules. There’s a good chance that Fnatic may win at least one game here, which is why taking the over on 2.5 maps being played could be the way to go.

It’s no surprise that the odds show Fnatic as the favorite, especially since NAVI is fairly new to the competitive scene. But looking at how both teams have performed in the regular season, it wouldn’t be much of a stretch to say that NAVI could cause an early upset in the playoffs, challenging the LEC’s hierarchy even more effectively than Los Ratones did this split.
