In stage 2, eight teams are already waiting to face off with those sides that survived Stage 1, but not everyone gets the same treatment. FlyQuest arrived early into the second stage of the major thanks to its dominant 3-0 run of play. They’ll now be facing the strongest team in Stage 2 in terms of Valve’s official ranking. NAVI’s first match of the major will be against the Australian side, and whether FlyQuest’s 3-0 win was a fluke or not will be made clear on November 29.

Simply due to FlyQuest’s recent performance, there may be some doubts around NAVI’s ability to pull through. Those can be cleared by checking out the best odds and picks for the NAVI vs FlyQuest match-up.

Match overview

Betting tip: NAVI vs FlyQuest should still be a relatively competitive match-up, even with the glaring gap between the two sides in Valve’s rankings. FlyQuest sits outside the top 30, while NAVI lurks comfortably inside the top 10 with Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen leading the roster. FlyQuest is still the team most likely to crack under pressure, but it should scrape together some rounds thanks to a confidence boost from beating Imperial and Fluxo during stage 1.

While NAVI may drop a few rounds, we still expect the side still close out the map without much trouble. The final result should look competitive on paper, but FlyQuest is expected to slide into the 0–1 bracket once the dust settles.

Our NAVI vs FlyQuest pick: Total rounds to be over 17.5 @ 1.12 odds.

FlyQuest was arguably the strongest team in all of stage 1, so proposing that they might stand a chance against NAVI isn’t exactly far-fetched. Given NAVI’s slower year, the debate feels even more justified. But a flawless Stage 1 run doesn’t suddenly turn FlyQuest into giant-killers overnight. The match should play out exactly the way long-time CS2 fans expect: firmly in NAVI’s favor.

FlyQuest currently ranks at 31 in the global rankings, with only a few tournament runs to speak of throughout 2025. Out of those few, the only notable win was BLAST Asia Risings Ulaanbaatar 2025, which compared to NAVI’s resume in 2025 feels rather subpar. There’s a reason why our StarLadder Budapest Major betting guide showed FlyQuests’s outright odds as being over seven times higher than those of NAVI.

While Joshua “INS” Potter pulled off a comfortable run in stage 1, FlyQuest’s overall roster may struggle against NAVI’s much more experienced core. It also doesn’t help that FlyQuest’s map pool over the last three months has shrunk significantly, with almost no meaningful wins on Nuke. If NAVI takes the battle to Nuke, where the team sits at a steady 53% win rate, FlyQuest will be working from a clear statistical disadvantage.

Compared to NAVI, FlyQuest’s map pool leaves it at a huge and frankly unavoidable disadvantage. NAVI’s win rate sits nearly identical across most active CS2 maps, and when you combine that with the roster’s raw firepower, the team simply looks better on every measurable front.

With only one map to win, NAVI will lean on Valerii “b1t” Vakhovskyi and Justinas “jL” Lekavicius to close it out quickly. If this were a best-of-three, FlyQuest might scrape together a map, but in a BO1, nerves may kick in early against heavy lifters like NAVI on the Major stage.

FlyQuest enters the game with plenty of confidence given its performance in Stage 1, but it will likely struggle against NAVI’s far more experienced roster. Even so, the Australian lineup should still put up a fight, keeping the scoreline somewhere around the 13–7 range. NAVI is still expected to close out the match and move into the 1–0 bracket.

For bettors, NAVI remains the safe pick. Anyone targeting the scoreline market should lean toward a competitive battle, as FlyQuest is unlikely to go down without putting up at least some resistance.

Our NAVI vs FlyQuest prediction: NAVI to win @ 1.48 odds at Stake.
