Multistreaming boosts Asmongold as the most-watched streamer

Popular Twitch streamer Zack “Asmongold” Hoyt has recently started multistreaming his content to Kick, and it looks like making more money isn’t the only benefit, as the platform has helped him to further entrench his position as the most-watched streamer.
Asmongold is a popular streamer long based primarily on Twitch, usually in the news for his hard takes and blunt opinions. The content creator has been prominent on both Amazon-backed Twitch and Google’s YouTube but is now also multistreaming his live content on Kick. Many streamers have started multistreaming on the Stake-backed platform as Kick continues to offer more earning potential.
Asmongold himself has compared the earnings of Twitch and Kick, with the latter earning him almost ten times what Twitch has. Kick’s lucrative monetary incentives are well-known, but Asmongold has displayed another benefit of multistreaming as he has solidified his position as the world’s most-watched streamer with his Twitch and Kick’s combined viewers.
Who is the most popular livestreamer?
Asmongold is by far the most popular livestreamer right now, and this is evident by the number of viewers that tuned in to watch his content in the second quarter of 2025.
Marc “Caedrel” Lamont is a prominent name in the streaming space who has grown increasingly popular in his restreams of competitive League of Legends content, and he has the record number of Twitch viewers in Q2 2025. Caedrel’s 27.87 million Twitch viewers are almost 1.5 million more than Asmongold’s 26.14 million. If Asmongold was only streaming on Twitch, then Caedrel would easily be the most-watched streamer of Q2 2025. But Asmongold’s decision to multistream helped him gain more total viewers and beat Caedrel’s record figure.

Kick boosted Asmongold’s total number of viewers by approximately 2 million. Asmongold became the most-watched streamer of Q2 2025 by accruing 28.58 million total viewers. This number is a little less than a million viewers more than Caedrel, and it is significantly higher than other North American streamers. Hasan “HasanAbi” Piker and Nicholas “Jynxzi” Stewart were the closest to Asmongold among those in the same region, with 23.27 and 22.29 million total viewers, respectively. The highest of the two figures is still more than 5 million fewer than Asmongold’s viewers.
June was Asmongold’s first month of multistreaming his content, so there is a possibility that his viewers may increase even further as these numbers proliferate across future quarters. As more viewers find out the streamer is also active on Kick, and as the platform’s native viewers also tune in to Asmongold’s channel, then the streamer may break his own record in the future.
Regardless of whether Asmongold gains even more viewers or not, the current increase is another point in favor of other streamers starting to multistream.
Khizar Mundia has been playing video games for as long as he can recall. Things have come a long way since the many days he spent playing the original NES, though. He now covers a variety of competitive games and esports, as well as the world of streaming, ranging from Twitch to Kick. If it’s of interest to gamers, it’s of interest to Khizar.
