MSL Thailand secures DXRacer partnership ahead of its first season

With the first season of MSL Thailand on the horizon, the league has secured a partnership with DXRacer as its official gaming chair partner.
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is easily one of the most well-known MOBAs in the market, competing with giants such as League of Legends and Dota 2. The game’s esports presence is huge, and developer Moonton Games aims to take that to the next level.
As part of its global expansion strategy for 2026, the developer is actively investing in MSL Thailand, which is a new Professional League in Thailand. With the latest development being the league’s partnership with DXRacer, it seems the esports scene will continue to develop across Asia.
The DXRacer chairs will be used by players and teams throughout the inaugural season, which is taking place from April 18, 2026 to May 17, 2026.
Thailand is becoming MLBB’s most important region in 2026
Thailand has been an integral part of Southeast Asia’s esports scene for years now. Multiple Thai teams have competed in MLBB tournaments, but they’ve clearly suffered from a lack of structure. Since there was no official pro league for the game in Thailand, it was tough for professional players in the region to see a path to global events.

With MLBB’s massive audience in Thailand, which is clear from the game’s constant dominance of the Google Play and App Store charts, it makes sense for Moonton to push for it to become a major region. The goal is to take advantage of the market that’s already present by introducing the new league, more opportunities for creators and players, and even additional funding.
The official partnership with DXRacer is one of the biggest examples of this push. DXRacer is already a known name in the esports scene for creating the world’s first gaming chair in 2006. It partners with professional leagues and teams, so its partnership with MSL Thailand shows a clear interest in the region.
How MSL Thailand sets the region up for success
Providing Thai players with a clear pathway to compete is just the beginning — MSL Thailand will also bring opportunities for teams in the region.
The split’s winners will be directly connected to this year’s MLBB Mid-Season Cup in Riyadh, letting them compete against the strongest teams on one of the biggest stages. Mobile Legends: Bang Bang’s esports events frequently bring in millions of live viewers and are also featured among the best esports titles to bet on.
In short, the exposure that a large-scale tournament such as the Mid-Season Cup will bring should push the whole esports ecosystem in the region towards even grater heights.

It isn’t as though this is a one-time thing either. Moonton’s budget for MSL Thailand Season 1 is ฿10,000,000, which is roughly $300,000. The partnership with DXRacer is likely only the first of many partnerships and marketing tactics to establish Thailand as a major MLBB region.
Thailand’s esports roadmap is already busy: MSL Thailand gives teams a path to the Esports World Cup and M World Championship, while the region is confirmed to host the M8 World Championship Wild Card Stage. Thailand’s women MLBB athletes will also benefit from the launch of the MLBB Women’s International Qualifiers. It’s safe to say that MLBB betting sites will be adding many more Thai teams to their databases.
