MrBeast joins Kick to stream, aims to raise $5 million

James “MrBeast” Donaldson has made occasional appearances on other creators’ streams on Kick and elsewhere, but up until now, he’s stuck to YouTube for his own content. That’s about to change, as he’s just launched a new Kick account, with a particular reason being given to the public for the move.
MrBeast has been pulling out all the stops to raise funds for his TeamWater project, which aims to provide clean drinking water to millions of people. He’s reached out to content creators, company CEOs, and other streamers for donations, even appearing on Adin Ross’ Kick stream in early August, raising $2.3 million in a single day.
The YouTuber is now taking an even more aggressive approach to fundraising by launching his own Kick streaming channel.
When will MrBeast go live on Kick?
MrBeast will go live on Kick for the first time on August 14, alongside fellow Kick streamers Félix “xQc” Lengyel, and Adin Ross, to raise funds for the TeamWater project.
Taking about the move on social media, the YouTuber announced his livestream with two of the biggest streamers on Kick, Adin and xQc. According to the post, the stream will go on until a target of $5 million has been raised. This is a small part of the overall $40 million goal that MrBeast has set for his TeamWater project for the month of August.
It’s worth noting that xQc and Adin have each donated $400,000 of their own money so far, with their contributions helping to drive further support for the initiative.
It’s still unclear whether MrBeast is streaming for free or if Kick has signed him to some sort of contract. The announcement surely wasn’t a surprise to Kick. Kick co-founder Bijan Tehrani was quick to welcome the content creator to Kick in a social media post.

Either way, MrBeast’s Kick career has already taken off. His channel launched on August 11, and within just two hours, it had already gained around 10,000 followers. At this rate, by August 14 the channel’s followers could reach up into six-figure numbers. While Kick already boasts some of the biggest names in streaming, MrBeast could become the platform’s biggest star yet, with his upcoming stream poised to potentially challenge records for Kick’s most-watched livestreams.
The stream will likely be a joint broadcast, as Adin Ross has confirmed it will also be live on his channel. Fans can catch all the action when MrBeast goes live on Kick on August 14.
