Team Falcons and MOUZ just can’t avoid each other, and the two teams are set to face off once again in the playoffs of BLAST Rivals Spring.
BLAST Rivals Spring is down to four teams and they’re likely the four best in all of Counter-Strike esports today. One of the matchups that has come together is one we’ve seen many times in recent months, though.
While that might not make for the most exciting viewing experience, it does give bettors lots of data to work with when it comes to their wagering. So what are the details on this match?
QUARTER-FINAL! MOUZ vs FaZe – Official Highlights – BLAST Premier Rivals 2025 S1
MOUZ and Team Falcons will face off in the semifinals of the 2025 BLAST Rivals Spring playoffs. The best-of-three match is set for May 3, 2025. The winner heads to the finals to face the winner of Team Spirit vs Team Vitality.
MOUZ continues to place highly in events. In BLAST Rivals Spring, that’s thanks to a group stage win over Pain Gaming and a playoffs win over FaZe Clan. Sandwiched in between those was a 2-1 loss to Team Vitality.
Still, a top-four finish is standard fare for the MOUZ roster of 2025:
MOUZ is particularly strong on Ancient and Nuke, winning a strong majority of its games there in 2025. It’s also solid on Mirage and Dust 2 and has been capable on Train to this point. The team struggles on Inferno, though. It also typically bans Anubis.
Team Falcons has been steadily improving throughout 2025 and that has continued into BLAST Rivals Spring. The team earned a direct semifinals placement by beating both FaZe Clan and Team Spirit.
MOUZ has been the archrivals of the new Team Falcons roster, which includes these players:
The 2025 Falcons roster has been winning on Dust 2, Ancient, Mirage, and Nuke. Meanwhile, it has lost a majority of its matches on Inferno and Train. Since adding m0NESY, the team has looked somewhat shaky on Inferno and Mirage while looking strong elsewhere. The sample size is still small, though.
MOUZ and Team Falcons have played many times in 2025. The record currently stands at 3-2 in favor of MOUZ. However, Falcons won the most recent matchup at IEM Melbourne, which included m0NESY.
Team Falcons is a 1.59 favorite to beat MOUZ in BLAST Rivals Spring’s playoffs. The MOUZ moneyline sits at 2.34. That’s a big endorsement of Falcons as their previous match was pegged as a true coin flip.
WINNER TO SEMI-FINAL! Spirit vs Falcons – Official Highlights – BLAST Premier Rivals 2025 S1
Falcons should be able to take a narrow win over MOUZ. MOUZ has the overall better body of work, but m0NESY looks to be a game-changer. It’s going to be hard to pick anybody over Falcons, with the sole exception being Team Vitality.
