MOUZ vs Pain Gaming: BLAST Rivals Spring CS2 betting guide

BLAST Rivals Spring will give Counter-Strike fans the first taste of the new Pain Gaming roster, but they’re being thrown in the deep end with a rock by having to face MOUZ.
There are no easy outs in high-level Counter-Strike. If a team hits that top-20 level, they’ll find themselves playing the cream of the crop every time. There’s no respite or opportunity to relax, even after a roster change. That’s especially the case here for Pain, as the retooled Brazilian squad needs to play against one of the top three Counter-Strike squads in its first match.

MOUZ vs Pain Gaming rosters, recent form, and best maps
MOUZ roster and recent results
MOUZ has been placing strong placements in each tournament it has competed in, winning PGL Cluj Napoca while making second and third-place runs elsewhere. The team has flown under the radar to some degree thanks to Team Vitality’s run to the top, but it is cemented as a top-three Counter-Strike team. Its last placement was third in IEM Melbourne, losing to Team Falcons.
The full MOUZ roster will be in attendance for BLAST Rivals Spring:
- Ádám “torzsi” Torzsás

MOUZ map pool
While Vitality has been dominating every map, MOUZ’s success has boiled down to its strength on Ancient, Train, and Nuke. It’s around .500 on Mirage and Dust 2, but has a subpar 5-8 record on Inferno. It routinely bans Anubis.
Pain Gaming roster and recent results
Pain Gaming has had the opportunity to compete in many of the biggest events to this point in 2025, but is yet to post a strong result. Its most recent showing was a last-place showing in IEM Melbourne, albeit with a pair of stand-ins.
Franco “dgt” Garcia was added to the Pain Gaming roster prior to this tournament, and this will be his debut with the team:
- Rodrigo “biguzera” Bittencourt
- Lucas “nqz” Soares
- João “snow” Vinicius
- David “dav1deuS” Tapia
- Franco “dgt” Garcia
Pain Gaming map pool
Pain has been strong on Nuke, going 8-4 in 2025 thus far. It also has a winning record on Mirage. Past that? The team has struggled. It’s under .500 on Dust 2 and has a 20% win rate or lower on Anubis, Inferno, and Train. Pain has been banning Ancient. The team may or may not be helped by the addition of dgt.

MOUZ vs Pain Gaming best betting picks & predictions
Core picks
- MOUZ wins 2-0 (1.72)
- With how each team’s maps align, a 2-0 win for MOUZ is the most likely outcome for this match and the 1.72 line is fairly generous
- MOUZ wins 2-1 (3.33)
- If Pain Gaming can get Nuke through the picks and bans, it actually stands a decent chance of winning
Prediction
MOUZ should be able to defeat Pain in convincing fashion. Unless dgt is a truly transformative addition to the roster, the expectation here should be MOUZ winning in emphatic fashion.
