Mooda got his third ban from Twitch, here’s why
Mooda got his third ban from Twitch, here's why
Controversial streamer Mooda, who primarily streams shooter games like Valorant and Fortnite, has been banned on Twitch for the third time.
Mooda has been streaming for around two years. He primarily focused on high-level Valorant streams while mixing it up with Just Chatting, Fortnite, and other non-shooter games. His
Twitch
streams picked up steam starting in mid-2024, though more for his confrontational personality than anything else.
These antics make his streams average around 5000 viewers with peak viewers reaching past 10,000. His gimmick streams backed up by his raw skills attracted thousands of new viewers. Recently, Mooda got banned on Twitch, and fans want to know why.
Why is Mooda banned from Twitch?
Reports suggest Mood was banned after “hate raiding” a smaller streamer.
Mood was banned in December 2024 after the streamer directed his fans towards a smaller streamer. Mooda harassed a female streamer
who criticized his content by reportedly siccing his viewers on her stream. After the third ban, many social media users brought up the clips proving the incident occured.
This isn’t Mooda’s first experience with bans from Twitch.
Mooda tweeted about one of his earlier bans
and said that he was banned due to sexual content. His tweet insisted that it was a false ban due to the “sexual content” that was shown being his male breast allegedly.
Mooda’s next ban happened in November 2024.
Mooda also talked about this on his Twitter, saying that “they’re legit banning me for ‘sexual content’ but won’t give me a clip that got me banned.” Viewers shared the clip
in the replies under this tweet, which showcased the streamer an act that some viewers interpreted as a sexual act. Twitch nor Mooda did not confirm if the clip was the reason for the suspension.
According to fans, these activities are normal in a Mooda stream. This is evident from a tweet in which a broken stream setup was shown. The tweet has the caption “If I ace in your game, this is what’s probably happening after.” He then attached a
video of him throwing his chair,
which he reportedly does regularly. Regardless, these actions allegedly convinced Twitch to send a ban the player’s way.
Most of Mooda’s bans were rescinded after less than a day,
according to StreamerBans. If this cycle is to be followed, assuming that there was nothing serious regarding this recent ban, his account should be back soon. Whether viewers will welcome him back remains to be seen.
