MKOI’s performance in its last LEC split was solid, with the team reaching the grand final before losing to G2. But the team’s performance wasn’t overly impressive, and the same applies to Fnatic, the team that finsihed third in the split. The gap between G2 Esports and the other LEC teams was fairly prominent then and still seems to be significant now, but Fnatic and MKOI have showcased that they’re close in terms of skill. G2 and MKOI’s match in the ongoing Worlds Swiss stage saw MKOI’s top laner and mid laner both perform badly. While Supa and Eloyoya did what they could as the ADC and jungler, MKOI’s performance seemingly plummets during international matches.
