MKOI vs Fnatic match analysis

While teams such as Fnatic revamped their rosters to make up for their shortcomings last year, MKOI opted to run it back with the same team. MKOI’s victory against G2 established it as a force to be reckoned with in the ongoing split. In particular, Supa and Alvaro absolutely dominated the bottom lane, while Elyoya shone through as a jungler.

Fnatic has also been going strong with the team’s wins against Los Ratones and NAVI. Upset and Lospa have started working very well together, and Vladi is a reliable mid laner.

Much of the match between these two teams will depend on which side can better prioritize jungle objectives and roam priority. While MKOI has an excellent jungler in Elyoya, his team has a bad tendency to obsess over kills rather than playing together for objectives. This has led to the team’s downfall multiple times in the past and could play a huge role in this match’s result.

MKOI’s win against G2 will likely give it the confidence it needs to be more aggressive here. This could give the team a quick and easy kill in the early game, potentially making siding with MKOI for first blood a good option.

It wouldn’t be surprising if things start falling apart for the team later as Fnatic’s Razork works alongside the experienced Vladi to begin securing objectives and cutting off the map. There’s a good chance that Fnatic could get the first Baron as a result of this, helping the team apply more pressure on MKOI’s inhibitor.
