Former Twitch streamer Matthew “Mizkif” Rinaudo recently left the platform and made his fresh debut on Kick, and he has revealed the magnitude of just a single stream’s earnings and how it compares to what he was able to make on his former home of Twitch.

Mizkif is a popular, albeit controversial, streamer known for his gaming streams and previous affiliation with content creation organization One True King. The content creator left that organization on bad terms, which seems to have become the new normal for him. His ex-partner and fellow streamer Emily “Emiru” Beth Schunk recently shared details about their relationship that soured many in the streaming community on him, and the two are now involved in an ongoing legal battle. Mizkif stopped streaming for a time after those allegations surfaced, then announced his pending switch to Kick.

He has now made that Kick debut, opening up about the money he’s been able to make with it.

How much money does Mizkif make on Kick?

Kick streamer Mizkif shared with his viewers that he earns about double the money on Kick compared to what he previously would make on Twitch in a single stream, despite now having around half his former viewership.

Mizkif discussed his move to Kick in a recent stream and compared the streaming platform to Twitch. He stated that he was averaging around 6,000 live viewers on Kick, while he used to see roughly 13,000 concurrent viewers on Twitch. Despite his viewership being significantly lower on Kick, Mizkif showed his revenue during his stream, which was at $6,963.36.

The streamer claimed that he only made half of this money on Twitch, despite more people watching those streams.

Mizkif’s Kick revenue dashboard displayed that the majority of the earnings were from the KCIP, which totaled to $5,439.85. The streamer made $881.64 from subscriptions, which is also on the higher end because Kick only takes a 5% cut of those sub sales. He also got $616.20 from gifted subs and a more modest $25.67 for chat engagement.

The content creator commented that he made less on Twitch despite the platform having ads which its viewers must sit through. Kick has been ad-free from its inception, though the platform’s CEO shared that this will change in the future.

Viewer reaction to Mizkif’s earnings has been positive, with many commenting that the greater revenue potential may have been the reason the streamer moved to Kick to begin with. Mizkif once accidentally leaked his week-long Twitch earnings in 2023, showing that he made $13,168.32. If the streamer’s new Kick earnings remain consistent, he would be able to eclipse that weekly number in just two days’ time. Numbers like that may not only empower him to remain on Kick, they may also encourage other streamers to make the jump.
